Gen2 SmartSolar 30W Solar Power Kit to suit Gen2 Openers

The SmartSolar system makes it easy to automate gates and garage doors on unpowered sites and provides the option for eco-friendly automation if desired.

The SmartSolar range of renewable energy power sources offer cost effective and eco-friendly automation solutions for remote and residential applications.

The SOL-2 SmartSolar Converter/Charger uses a single solar panel to charge 2 x 12V batteries, which in turn supply the 24V required to operate the motor (with the only modification required being the removal of the opener’s transformer and power cord).

The SmartSolar system is compatible with most residential openers. (4/5 pin connector on the control board)
